Thomas Livingstone Mitchell's journal of Australia Felix is both descriptive and comprehensive. Following his journey and journal from Boree (near Orange) through to Western Victoria and the Grampians, then south to the coast before returning to Sydney (we will divert to the Great Ocean Road) should add an extra dimension to this tour. Highlights will include visits to Little Desert Lodge, Mt Arapiles, the Grampians, Discovery Bay, Port Fairy, the Great Ocean Road, Mt Macedon, Hanging Rock and Beechworth.
